Son Of No Nay Never Wins Maiden In Good Style

Rogue Soldier (3g No Nay Never - Dolcissimo, by Dark Angel) gained a deserved success when running out a comfortable winner at Wolverhampton on Monday.

Placed twice previously, Tom Clover’s charge was sent off favourite as he stepped up in trip in the nine and a half furlong maiden. Racing prominently under Billy Loughnane, the bay was asked to quicken after the three furlong pole and was ridden when a gap appeared a furlong later. Leading before the final furlong, he ran on well to score by two and a quarter lengths, with another length and three quarters back to the third.
