Trasna Na Pairce (Walk In The Park) Wins At Castletown

Son Of Walk In The Park Draws Clear To Maiden Victory

Trasna Na Pairce (5g Walk In The Park – Betty’s The Best, by Oscar) built on two promising performance to get off the mark in the five and six-year-old geldings’ maiden at Castletown-Geoghegan on Sunday.

Twice runner-up last season, Pat Doyle’s charge was sent off joint-favourite on return and raced prominently throughout under Pa King. The bay showed a game attitude when regaining the lead between the final two fences and kept on well on the run-in to score by six and a half lengths.

Walk In The Park’s base of Grange Stud had further reason to celebrate, as Trasna Na Pairce is owned by Geraldine Magnier and Veronica Sherwood, and was bred by AV and Minch Bloodstock.
