Stakes win for Zoffany son

Trainer Ralph Beckett sent out Dolphin Vista (5g Zoffany-Fiordiligi, by Mozart) to score in the Listed Doonside Cup at Ayr on Thursday.

The son of Zoffany finished a half length clear of the field and appears better than ever since joining Beckett’s stable.

“We got Dolphin Vista in the summer,” said Beckett. “He took a while to come right. I was delighted with his effort at Epsom and we thought this was the right race for him.”

Dolphin Vista was bred by Jim McDonald.
