Stakes-Winner in South Africa for Fusaichi Pegasus

Australian bred mare Feel My Love (4m Fusaichi Pegasus x Bellhouse, by Danehill) scored her first Black Type success when saluting in the Listed East Coast Handicap at Clairwood in South Africa on Sunday. The Greg Ennion trained daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus won the 2000 metre staying test by a length and a quarter and has the overall record of five wins and four placings from 23 starts. Feel My Love was sent to South Africa as a weanling, her dam Bellhouse purchased by Worldwide Bloodstock for $100,000 at the 2005 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on behalf of South African clients. Her first three foals have all been exported to South Africa as well as the mare herself in 2008. Bellhouse is a half-sister by Danehill to Grade III winner Basim from the family of English 2,000 Guineas winner Mystiko. Feel My Love is the 58th stakes-winner worldwide for Fusaichi Pegasus, who is now based in Kentucky after shuttling to Australia earlier in his career.
