Starspangledbanner Filly Makes All To Maiden Victory

I’ll Be There (3f Starspangledbanner - Hanella, by Galileo) showed further improvement to win her third start in the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Goodwood on Friday evening.

The Andrew Balding-trained chesnut finished a promising fifth last time out and appeared suited by Harry Davies’ front-running tactics on her latest start. Shaken up two furlongs from home, she was ridden inside the final furlong and kept on well to win by a length and a half.
