Walk In The Park Paddock Shot

Strong Start To 2022 Sales Season For Walk In The Park

The progeny of Walk In The Park were in demand at the Tattersalls Ireland February Sale, with Ardrums House Stud providing one of the highlights in their €60,000 colt (Lot 78).

Jason Higgins secured the bay yearling, on whom he commented, “He is by a very popular sire and is a lovely, loose-moving colt. I couldn’t fault him. We’ll see how it goes, he might be resold as a store horse or we might race or point-to-point him.”

The colt’s family is no stranger to commercial success, with his full-brother fetching €90,000 at last year’s Derby Sale.

Ms Eileen Ryan was also well rewarded on Tuesday when her two-year-old gelding (Lot 12) by Walk In The Park sold to Richard Frisby for €50,000.
