Suspira Mi Amor Newest Group III Winner For Lucky

Suspira Mi Amor (2f Lookin At Lucky x Safawi, by Seeking The Dia) became the latest stakes winner for Lookin At Lucky on Friday when she won the Group III Clasico Carlos Valdes Izquierdoin Chile.

Racing over a mile on the turf, the Haras Don Alberto homebred raced a few lengths off the leaders until they entered the straight. The filly took over in midstretch and was never challenged from there, winning by two lengths.

It was the second win in seven starts for Suspira Mi Amor, who has also finished second in three other races.

Suspira Mi Amor is a half-sister to Group I winner Breakpoint and out of multiple Group II winner Safawi. Safawi is one of three stakes performers for her dam as a half-sister to Group III winner Sabiendo and Group I-placed Asi Es No Mas.

It has been another strong year for champion racehorse Lookin At Lucky, who has sired 13 stakes performers worldwide, led by Group I winners Royal Luck and Panfield.
