Unbeaten Juvenile The Latest Stakes Winner By Gleneagles

Shavasana (2f Gleneagles - So Many Shots, by Duke Of Marmalade) became the latest Stakes winner by Gleneagles when extending her unbeaten record in the Listed Premio Criterium Femminile at Capannelle.

The Alduino Botti-trained filly won her first two starts last month and was sent off favourite to make a successful step up in class under Dario Vargiu. She made all of the running in the seven and a half furlong contest and was ridden out to score by three parts of a length.

Owned by Mario Sansoni, Shavasana was bred by Razza Del Velino and sold for €75,000 as a foal.
