Uncle Mo Filly Wins Tropical Park Oaks

Classy filly Ultra Brat (3f Uncle Mo x Prof. McGonagall, by Storm Cat) produced her best form to win the $75,000 Tropical Park Oaks at Gulfstream on Saturday.

Trained by Graham Motion, Ultra Brat was a stakes-winner earlier this year and recaptured that good form to win this 1 and 1/16^th mile turf contest by a length.

“We’ve always liked her,” said Alice Clapham, assistant to winning trainer Graham Motion. “She’s won a couple here and there. She’s just gotten stronger and stronger as the year went on.”

A homebred for Alex Campbell, Ultra Brat has won four of nine starts earning over $174,000 in prizemoney and is a half-sister to Grade III winner It’s Tea Time.
