Uncle Mo Yearlings Popular

The first Australian bred yearlings by Champion US Two Year Old Uncle Mo were on show at the 2015 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast this week with all seven offered in Book One changing hands and going into many of the best stables. Top seller (pictured) for Uncle Mo was a colt from Danehill Dancer mare Royal Dance that made $130,000 for Coolmore when knocked down to astute Newcastle trainer Paul Perry, who trained both Choisir and Fastnet Rock to multiple Group I wins before embarking on stud careers at Coolmore. Anthony Cummings paid $120,000 for the half-sister to his Group III placed performer Drago from Irish bred Galileo mare Snapdragon, while Gerald Ryan and Damion Flower (Jadeskye Racing) bought a lovely filly from Irish bred Montjeu mare Awe Inspiring for $100,000. Champion trainer Chris Waller paid $80,000 for a colt from Astonish (GB), while he will also train the very last lot sold on Saturday night, a filly from Irish bred Galileo mare United Colours bought by Debbie Kepitis’ Woppitt Bloodstock for $100,000.
