US Stakes-Winner for Galileo
Well bred mare Circling (4m Galileo x Chanting by Danehill) claimed her first Black Type victory when taking out the $56,330 Miss America Stakes at Golden Gate on the weekend.
Trained by Neil Drysdale for Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Susan Magnier, Circling won the 1 and 1/16th mile contest on the all weather track by half a length.
Stakes-placed in Ireland, Circling has won two races and is the first winner for stakes-winning Danehill mare Chanting.
She is the 206th stakes-winner worldwide for champion sire Galileo and is the 33rd bred from a daughter of Danehill, 11 of those being Group I winners including 2015 Group I HK International Vase winner Highland Reel.
