Wings Of Eagles Three-Year-Old Wins Bumper On Debut
Eagles Reprieve (3g Wings Of Eagles – Oscar’s Reprieve, by Oscar) produced a likeable performance on debut to win Saturday’s three-year-old bumper at Wetherby.
Lucinda Russell’s newcomer was held up by Jack Power and began to make headway from four furlongs out. Pushed along into second with two furlongs left to race, he ran on to lead inside the final furlong and went on to score by a length and a quarter.
Owned by Ali Kinge and Nicky Hodge, Eagles Reprieve was bred by The Beeches Stud, who stand his sire Wings Of Eagles.
