French Grand Slam Stakes-Winner Headed for US

Classy French based filly Dear Lavinia (2f Grand Slam x Baroness Richter, by Montjeu) is headed back to America after being purchased by celebrity chef Bobby Flay.

Previously trained by Jean-Claude Rouget for her owner breeders Joseph Allen, Dear Lavinia finished a close third to Grade I Prix Marcel Boussac winner Elusive Kate in a Listed event at Deauville in July, and most recently took out the Listed Grand Criterium de Bordeaux at Bordeaux
le Bouscat in early October.

Dear Lavinia will arrive in the States on Saturday and will be conditioned by Todd Pletcher as are with the rest of Mr Flay’s his runners.

She will be entered for the Grade II Breeder’s Cup Juvenile FilliesTurf.
