Stakes One-Two for Giant’s Causeway

A full brother to dual Grade I winner Giant Oak, Oak Brook (5g Giant’s Causeway x Crafty Oak, by Crafty Prospector) posted a stakes victory of his own when successful in the $52,850 Black Tie Affair Stakes at Arlington Park on the weekend.

Trained by Brian Williamson, Oak Brook scored a three-quarter length win in the 1 and 1/16th mile contest over Cammack (7g Giant’s Causeway x Fort Pond, by Fortunate Prospect) to give champion sire Giant’s Causeway a stakes quinella.

The son of Giant’s Causeway has won four of 19 starts earning over $215,000 in prizemoney and is a full brother to Giant Oak and also stakes-winner Apple Martini being from top producer and Grade III winner Crafty Oak.

Oak Brook is the 170th stakes-winner for evergreen sire Giant’s Causeway.
