Stakes Performer for Stay Thirsty

Dual Grade I winner Stay Thirsty very nearly landed a stakes-winner with his first runner when talented colt Thirstforlife (2c Stay Thirsty x Promenade Girl, by Carson City) rattled home for third in the $100,000 Kentucky Juvenile Stakes at Churchill Downs.

Prepared by Mark Casse for the same owners as TDN Rising Star, Tale of Two, Thirstforlife made a mess of the start, missing it completely before flying home to just miss second place in a race won by Silvertoni.

A $240,000 Keeneland November Weanling purchase, Thirstforlife is a three-quarter brother to Grade I winner Cavorting and is from Grade II winner Promenade Girl, so is bred to be good.

Stay Thirsty was a Grade I placed juvenile, before training on to Group I success at three and four and stands at a fee of $10,000.
