Exciting young sire Majestic Warrior posted his sixth winner at the weekend and it came at Saratoga in the shape of highly impressive filly Seasoned Warrior (2f Majestic Warrior x Saoirse, by Cure the Blues).
A homebred for Live Oak Plantation, the Bill Mott trained Seasoned Warrior earned a ‘TDN Rising Star’ tag when she powered clear to win the six furlong maiden by three and three-quarter lengths at her second start.
Second when she made her debut at Belmont at the end of June, Seasoned Warrior has obviously gone forward since then and looks a filly of real scope and potential.
Seasoned Warrior is bred to be good as a half-sister to Grade III winner Hide and Chic, stakes-winner Autobahn Girl and stakes-placed Saoirse Cat, her dam the very good racemare Saoirse, a Grade III winning daughter of Cure the Blues.
Majestic Warrior is really starting to gather momentum now as the season progresses with six winners to his credit and many place-getters poised to soon join that tally.
