$300,000 for King’s Legacy Colt

The first crop of yearlings by King’s Legacy continue to impress with eight yearlings selling at Inglis Premier this week for up to $300,000.

Top seller for King’s Legacy was the Shadow Hill Thoroughbreds consigned colt from stakes-placed High Chaparral mare Anchor Bid that was bred by GSA Bloodstock and bought by McEvoy Mitchell Racing / Belmont Bloodstock Agency for $300,000.

The only foal to race for Anchor Bid is a winner and she has a nice pedigree being a half-sister to stakes-winner Through Irish Eyes from Group III winner Zapurple.

Anchor Bid was back at Coolmore last spring to be covered by Starspangledbanner.

Another good result for King’s Legacy was the half-brother to Group III winner Benedetta that sold for $160,000. The Mill Park consigned colt from Whatalovelyday was bought by Bjorn Baker Racing / Clarke Bloodstock.
