Another $750,000 Colt for American Pharoah
After two sessions of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale, American Pharoah is the leading first season sire with three or more yearlings sold with 12 youngsters averaging $343,333.
His popularity continued with a colt from Group III winning Fastnet Rock mare Jazz Song fetching $750,000 for Coolmore when bought by Waller Racing/Mulcaster Bloodstock.
Bred by Morning Rise Stud, he is the third foal from Jazz Song, a daughter of Group I winner Absolut Glam.
Jazz Song has another American Pharoah colt to follow and was covered last spring by another Triple Crown hero in Justify.
