Bubbling (No Nay Never) Draws Clear At Galway

No Nay Never Filly Earns Debutante Stakes Entry

Bubbling (2f No Nay Never – Lumiere Noire, by Dashing Blade) is destined for a step up in class after running out an impressive winner of the fillies’ maiden on the second day of the Galway Festival.

The 320,000gns yearling caught the eye on debut at Leopardstown, where she finished fourth, and was sent off favourite of a field of 13 on Tuesday. Racing prominently under Wayne Lordan, the bay was ridden to lead inside the final furlong and strode clear to score by five lengths.

“She is a typical No Nay Never,” commented Ballydoyle representative Chris Armstrong. “She has lots of natural pace and Wayne gave her a lovely ride. She really sprinted the last furlong and while she is still a bit babyish, that trip is perfect for her.”

Armstrong earmarked the Debutante Stakes as Bubbling’s next target. Owned by Coolmore partners, the Maxwell Ervine-bred bay is a full-sister to dual Group winner and multiple Group 1 placed Wichita (No Nay Never).
