Sunday saw the Andre Fabre-trained Zoom (4g No Nay Never – Sonnerie, by More Than Ready) gain his first black-type success in the Listed Prix Pantieme at Saint-Cloud.

Last seen winning a Class 1 contest at the same track in September, the Wertheimer family’s homebred was partnered by Maxime Guyon at the weekend. Tracking the leaders for much of the way, he quickened to lead turning for home and ran on well when ridden passing the two furlong pole. He kept on well to deny the fast-finishing favourite by a nose.
