Third Time Lucky For No Nay Never Filly
A step up in trip saw No Nay Bella (3f No Nay Never - Illuminating Dream, by High Chaparral) get off the mark at the third time of asking in Saturday’s Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Kempton.
Beaten less than three lengths over seven furlongs last time out, the Marco Botti-trained filly stepped up to a mile on her latest start. Jimmy Quinn positioned her in midfield, soon progressing to chase the leaders and was ridden to lead approaching the final furlong. Driven out, she held off a challenge by Festive Love to win by half a length.
Owned by Middleham Park Racing, No Nay Bella was bred by Lynn Lodge Stud out of a winning half-sister to multiple Stakes winner Les Fazzani.
