St Mark’s Basilica, a five-time Group 1 winner, is a son Siyouni (Fr), Champion Sire in France in 2020 and 2021.
Siyouni is out of Sichilla, a daughter of Danehill. This opens up St Mark’s Basilica to crossing with mares by sons & grandsons of DANEHILL. Sex balancing Danehill like this is one of the most successful ways to reinforce this influential sire.
Danehill and Northern Dancer (who has four presences in St Mark’s Basilica) are ALMAHMOUD family members.
