Fine Run Continues For Ten Sovereigns

Rednblue Sovereign (2c Ten Sovereigns - Mille Tank, by Mastercraftsman) became Ten Sovereigns’ third winner in as many days when justifying favouritism at Epsom on Thursday.

Tom Dascombe’s charge caught the eye at the track when finishing well in the Woodcote Stakes and went on to be placed on his next two starts. Returning to seven furlongs on Thursday, he was ridden to make all by Pierre-Louis Jamin and kept on well inside the final furlong to win by a neck. Prepschool (Camelot) completed a 1-2 for Coolmore sires.

Rednblue Sovereign is owned by Sideways Racing and was bred by Eamon Phelan. He continues a successful few days for Ten Sovereigns, whose daughter Lunar Streets delivered on debut the previous day, while Mansa Musa won his second start at Glorious Goodwood.
