300,000gns for Camelot at Tattersalls

Following great sales at Arqana and Goffs, a big spread of buyers were keen to snap up Camelot yearlings in Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in Newmarket this week.

Peter Doyle picked up a €380,000 Camelot filly for the Mayfair Speculators/Coolmore partnership at Goffs and the same team paid 300,000gns for a Camelot colt at Tattersalls.

The February-born yearling is out of the Mizzen Mast mare Seatone, a half-sister to US Grade 1 winner Senure and from a top Juddmonte family.

Meanwhile, BBA Ireland paid 185,000gns for a colt consigned by Newsells Park Stud for Gestut Faehrhof.

Other prices included 175,000gns (Peter & Ross Doyle), 160,000gns (SackvilleDonald), 130,000gns (Sam Sangster), 100,000gns (John & Jake Warren), 100,000gns (Rabbah Bloodstock), etc.
