Amarillo shows way for Holy Roman Emperor

Fresh from a big-race double in Hong Kong in Sunday, Holy Roman Emperor had further Group race success on Thursday when Amarillo (5h Holy Roman Emperor-Alte Kunst, by Royal Academy) scored in Germany.

The Peter Schiergen-trained entire, also a G3 scorer at Haydock in Britain last season, captured the G3 Silberne Peitsche at Munich with a length and a half to spare over his rivals.

Amarillo was bred by Jurgen Imm and races in the colours of Stall Nirza.
