Black-Type Getaway Mare Impresses On Hurdle Bow

Black-type bumper mare Listentoyourheart (5m Getaway – Illwalktheline, by Presenting) made an impressive start to her hurdling career at Market Rasen on Saturday afternoon.

A debut winner and runner-up in two Listed bumpers last season, the Dan Skelton-trained five-year-old was sent off favourite on her seasonal return in the mares’ maiden hurdle. She raced prominently throughout under Harry Skelton and asserted after the third last. Drawing clear after the next, she went on to win by 21 lengths with ease.

Listentoyourheart is owned by ST Racing and is the first foal bred by Yellowford Bloodstock out of Illwalktheline.
