More black-type for Mastercraftsman’s Ashiana
Progressive three-year-old Ashiana (3f Mastercraftsman-Ashantee, by Areion) added another Listed victory to her record when scoring in Hanover on Sunday.
A winner in similar company on her previous outing, Ashiana comfortably won the Listed Grosser Jubilaumspreis der Wohnungswritschaft by three-quarters of a length.
TDN commented: “Anchored with two behind early and detached from the main field, the chestnut made a wide move on the home turn and produced a sustained effort down the centre of the track to gain the lead 100 metres out and ultimately win a shade cosily.”
Bred by Hans Wirth and owned by Eckhard Sauren, the Peter Schiergen-trained filly is on course for the G1 Preis der Diana at Dusseldorf on August 6.
