Chasing Fire (Maxios) Wins The 4YO Maiden At Tattersalls

Exciting Son Of Maxios Sells for £170,000

The well-bred Chasing Fire (4g Maxios - Kahara, by Sadler’s Wells) made an impressive debut last month and handler Denis Murphy was rewarded on Friday when his charge sold for £170,000.

It was the most expensive purchase of the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale for Aiden and Olly Murphy, and marked a notable profit on the bay’s yearling price of 45,000gns.

The son of Maxios boasts a fine pedigree, sharing his page with Milan, and was sent off favourite for a four-year-old maiden at Tattersalls. He went on to score by six lengths in comfortable fashion.
