Camelot Head Shot

Salisbury maiden winner for Camelot

There was more first-crop success for Camelot on Saturday evening when Fighting Irish (2c Camelot-Quixotic, by Pivotal) won a Salisbury maiden for trainer Harry Dunlop. The juvenile was always prominent in the six-furlong event, with Stevie Donohoe in the saddle, eventually winning by a comfortable three-quarters of a length.

Bred in Ireland by Kilcarn Stud, Fighting Irish was bought for £70,000 at Doncaster’s Premier Sale in August by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.
