Yeats head shot

Great Yeats is off the mark

03/06/2013

The fabulous Yeats had a first winner from his first runner in Milan on Saturday when Dress Drive (2c Yeats-Diagon Alley, by Cadeaux Genereux) made a victorious debut.

The Daniele Ariente-trained colt took a seven-furlong newcomers’ event in impressive fashion when scoring by two lengths.

Bred in Ireland by Razza Montalbano SRL, Dress Drive was sold for 17,000 euros as a yearling in Italy last September.
