Elle Memory (Maxios) winning the Preis Dusseldorf

Improving Maxios Filly Gains Black Type Success

The progressive Elle Memory (3f Maxios - Elle Danzig, by Roi Danzig) gained an important black-type success when taking the Listed Preis Dusseldorf on Sunday.

A promising second on debut last month, the Peter Schiergen-trained filly followed up with a maiden win two weeks later. Lukas Delozier took the ride on her latest start, settling his mount in mid-division and asked her to quicken turning for home. Asserting in the straight, she held off a strong challenge by Sister Lulu to win by a neck on the line.

Owned and bred by Gestut Wittekindshof, Elle Memory is closely related to Listed winner El Comodin (Monsun). The daughter of Castlehyde Stud sire Maxios becomes the fifth Stakes horse out of Elle Danzig, herself a three-time Group 1 winner.
