Inara (2f Mo Town x Three Halos, by Liaison) became the newest winner for Mo Town on Saturday with an impressive victory over six furlongs.

Around the turn, Inara started to make her move with a wide run to the outside of the leaders and easily flew past them in the stretch. The filly was never asked to go all out as she won by nearly five lengths for JAL Racing and Jose Velez in her second career start.

Bred by John R. Penn, Inara is the first foal out of the winning Liaison mare Three Halos. That mare is three-quarter sister to Grade III winner and multiple Grade II-placed Cinco Charlie and the dam of stakes-placed Day Plan.
