Love Her Lots Wins Again For Cupid

Love Her Lots (3f Cupid x Curtain Call, by Congrats) gave bettors lots to love when the Cupid daughter won at a mile at Gulfstream Park on Friday.

It was the second victory in three starts for the filly, who was making her first start since November.

Taking up back marker duties, Love Her Lots bided her time just two lengths behind the dueling front runners. As they field rushed into the turn, Love Her Lots made her move and was challenging the long time leader by the time they hit the stretch.

That pair dueled all the way home with Love Her Lots getting her head in front and the rest of the field over 12 ½ lengths behind.

The gray is owned by Kevin Dole, Debbie Gagne, and her trainer Ronald Spatz with Spatz also signing the ticket for her when she was bought as a 2-year-old last March. She was bred by Moreau Bloodstock International out of the Congrats mare Curtain Call, giving her 3 x 4 inbreeding to A.P. Indy.

The filly is from the family of Argentine Horse of the Year Second Reality and stakes winner Dark Thunder among others.

The value sire of his generation Cupid is the sire of 25 winners with that group led by Grade III winner God Of Love. A Grade I winner himself whose first runners look to get even better this year, Cupid stands for $5,000 in 2022.
