Miller’s House Impressive New Winner For Munnings

The Stonestreet Thoroughbreds-bred Miller’s House (3c Munnings x Marcellina d’Oro, by Medaglia d’Oro) made easy work of his maiden victory on Thursday with a six length win at Meydan.

Racing over a mile on the dirt in Dubai, Miller’s House raced just off the hip of the leader throughout the early run. With Richard Mullen onboard the Satish Seemar-trainee, bred Miller’s House easily rolled up to the leader’s side in the far turn before Mullen asked him to pick up the pace.

Miller’s House was off from there to be the easiest of winners on the opening race of the card.

“That was very pleasing on just his fourth start and he is a horse who is improving both physically and mentally. He was very impressive tonight and we would like to think he can improve again,” said Seemar.

Owned by Mohammed Khalifa Al Basti, the colt is a half-brother to the stakes-placed Hollywood Glory as one of two winners from three to race out of the winning Marcellina d’Oro. That mare is a great-granddaughter of multiple champion Flawlessly.

A top value sire, Munnings is the sire of 10 stakes winners and 20 stakes horses in 2020 alone, led by the Grade II winning and Grade I-placed duo of Venetian Harbor and Bonny South.
