Mo Mystery Wins on Debut
The juvenile maiden at Aqueduct on Wednesday was won by promising filly Mo Mystery (2f Uncle Mo x Tabitha, by Tale of the Cat) with American Pharoah’s first North American runner Tesorina (2f American Pharoah x Nonsuchbay, by Mr Greeley) finishing third.
A homebred for the Repole Stable, the Todd Pletcher trained Mo Mystery tracked the leader Tesorina and surged past that rival to win the four and a half furlong dash by more than three lengths.
Mo Mystery is the first winner for Tabitha, who comes from the family of Grade I winners Tiznow and Paynter.
