Another winning newcomer for Camelot

18/03/2018

The Christophe Ferland-trained Moncamel (3c Camelot-Mona Lisa, by Giant’s Causeway) became another first-time out winner for Camelot when prevailing at Toulouse on Saturday.

The three-year-old hit the front in the closing stages of the 2,100 metre event and Ferland believes there could be better to come.

“He'd been working well in recent weeks and he should come on from this race,” said Ferland. “I’m not sure where we’ll go next.”
