More Stakes Success for Munnings

Consistent gelding Phat Man (5g Munnings x Nicole’s Dream, by Northern Trend) scored a tenacious victory in the $75,000 Good Magic Mile at Monmouth on Sunday.

Trained by J.Kent Sweezey, Phat Man took his overall record to six wins and seven placings from 23 starts with a determined head win in the one mile contest.

A half-brother to stakes-winner Estellara, Phat Man has won over $350,000 in prizemoney and is one of four winners from stakes-winner Nicole’s Dream.

Phat Man is one of 33 stakes-winners for Munnings, who has been in hot form in 2019 with a string of stakes-winners this year.
