Ohmyviette (Sioux Nation) Wins His Maiden At Dundalk

More To Come From Sioux Nation’s Latest Winner

Ohmyviette (2g Sioux Nation - Aello, by Acclamation) justified strong market support to win his third start in Wednesday’s five furlong maiden at Dundalk.

Slowly away under Manoel Marques, Willie Browne’s charge raced towards the back of the field and was full of running turning for home. Pushed along from the two furlong pole, he quickened to lead in the final 100 yards, despite showing signs of inexperience, and went on to beat the favourite by half a length.

“He's a big, good-looking horse and is only going to get better,” Browne said. “He has a bit of an engine for sure. I'd imagine a little bit of a break would suit him, but we'll see what the owner thinks.”

Owned by Leidiana Marques, the son of Sioux Nation was bred by Madame Alix Rambaud and M Hughes Rambaud.
