New Stakes-Winner for Munnings
A $700,000 OBS April 2YO Sale purchase last year, Boldor (3c Munnings x Senate Caucus, by Siphon) earned TDN Rising Star status when winning on debut in 2018 and claimed his first stakes win when taking out the $100,000 Punch Line Stakes at Colonial Downs.
Trained by Steve Asmussen, Boldor hit the line strongly to win the five and a half furlong sprint by three lengths taking his overall record to two wins and two placings from five starts with earnings in excess of $122,000.
Originally a $100,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling purchase, Boldor now runs for Ed and Susie Orr and is a half-brother to stakes-placed Avarice and Fly E Dubai from hood producer Senate Caucus.
Boldor is the 34th stakes-winner for Munnings.
