No Nay Never Filly Heads To Ascot
A winner on debut over six furlongs in September, she took to turf and stepped up to a mile for the first time at Windsor. Ridden by Shane Kelly, she was forced to relinquish her lead after two furlongs, but regained the advantage when travelling well two furlongs from home and ran on to score by three lengths and three quarters, as the favourite Durrell took second.
The Sandringham Handicap at the Royal meeting is now on the agenda for Lady Madison, who is owned by M Clarke, P Munnelly and D Waters. She was bought as a yearling for €42,000 from breeders Rockfield Farm and is out of a three-parts sister to Listed winner Al Aasifh.
