Princess Becomes The Latest Winner For Australia

Princess Salamah (2f Australia - Dubai Media, by Songandaprayer) justified favouritism at Wolverhampton on Thursday to become the latest winner by her freshman sire.

The Ralph Beckett-trained filly finished third on debut last month and preferred the latest tactics of making all the running, dictated by Richard Kingscote. Shaken up approaching the final furlong, the chesnut was ridden out to beat Fayetta (Champs Elysees) by three parts of a length.

Owned and bred by Ahmad Al Shaikh, Princess Salamah is out of a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Square Eddie.
