Promising Australia Filly Scores On Second Attempt
Equal Share (2f Australia - Split Trois, by Dubawi) followed up on a promising debut to justify favouritism in the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Lingfield on Wednesday.
Sir Micheal Stoute’s representative finished fifth in a competitive Class 2 contest at Salisbury in September and stepped up to a mile on return under Richard Kingscote. Making all of the running, she was shaken up at the two furlong marker and kept on well when challenged inside the final furlong, prevailing by a head on the line.
Owned by Mohamed Obaida, the daughter of Australia was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock out of Group 3 winner Split Trois.
