Promising No Nay Never Colt Scores On Second Attempt
The John Gosden-trained Marrakech Moon (2c No Nay Never - Morocco Moon, by Rock Of Gibraltar) built on a promising debut to justify favoritism at Yarmouth on Monday.
Fifth over the same trip of seven furlongs last month, Miss Alice Bamford’s homebred was ridden to chase the leaders by Robert Havlin. Improving into second approaching the two furlong marker, the bay led inside the final furlong and keot on well to win by three parts of a length from Aquaman, as the front pair drew five lengths clear of the field.
Marrakech Moon is closely related to Mr Marrakech (Scat Daddy), who won both his starts for the same connections.
