Son of Camelot Makes It Two From Two On Return
Lostwithiel (4g Camelot - Hespera, by Danehill) appeared better than ever when producing a smart performance on his reappearance at Wolverhampton on Monday.
The George Boughey-trained bay scored on debut last September and was sent off second favourite on return in the mile and a half novice stakes. Racing in midfield under Rossa Ryan, he improved to lead approaching the final furlong and kept on well to win by two and three quarter lengths, with the runner-up drawing 11 lengths clear of the field.
Owned and bred by Al Asayl Bloodstock, Lostwithiel is out of a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Erupt.
