Carcaci Castle (Getaway) Lands The Bellewstown Bumper

Son Of Getaway Lands Bumper By Wide Margin

The Colin Bowe-trained Carcaci Castle (5g Getaway - Hakuna, by Saddlers’ Hall) drew clear to gain his maiden win in Wednesday’s bumper at Bellewstown.

Chasing the leaders under Toni Quail, the bay went clear with the favourite four furlongs from home and was ridden out to score by 15 lengths with ease.

The Milestone Bloodstock-owned winner had shown promise on debut in a point-to-point, finishing fourth in a Kirkistown maiden. The son of Grange Stud sire Getaway was bred by Don Commins, whose Albany Stud sold Carcaci Castle’s half-brother by Order Of St George as a foal in December.
