Promising Milan (Milan) Wins On Debut At Damma House

Son Of Milan Shows Great Promise On Winning Debut

The Donnchadh Doyle-trained Promising Milan (5g Milan - French Promise, by Anshan) proved well-named when making a winning debut at Damma House on Sunday.

One of eight to line up in the five and six-year-old maiden, the bay led from early on under Rob James and was pushed along from two out. In command at the final fence, he ran on well to win by six lengths from Coothill (Yeats), while Onagatheringstorm (Imperial Monarch) took third.

Bred by Brian Cotter, the son of Milan is a half-brother to Grade 1 winning chaser Thyne Again.
