Son Of Walk In The Park Makes Winning Debut At Quakerstown

Foreverwalking (4g Walk In The Park - Until Forever, by Robin Des Champs) stayed on well in torrential rain to make a winning debut in Sunday’s four-year-old maiden at Quakerstown.

Pat Doyle’s charge made most of the running under Pa King and boasted a three length lead at the final fence. Keeping on well, he held off a late challenge to prevail by a head on the line, with the front pair drawing 20 lengths clear of the third horse.

Foreverwalking is owned by Mary Doyle and sold for €70,000 at last year’s Goffs Land Rover Sale. The son of Grange Stud sire Walk In The Park was bred by Howard Spooner and Ian Weaver.
