The powerful Wesley Ward stable produced another exciting juvenile winner this week with a scintillating debut victory at Keeneland for Kimari (2f Munnings x Cozze Up Lady, by Cozzene).

Sent off a short priced favourite despite taking on the colts, Kimari proved well up to the challenge when zooming away to win the four and a half furlong maiden by a dazzling 15 lengths.

Kimari stopped the clock in a very sharp :51.02, while clocking her final quarter in :23 flat earning TDN Rising Star status for her brilliant win.
