Third Group Success For Classy Camelot Colt

Sunday saw Sevenna’s Knight (4c Camelot – Sevenna, by Galileo) run out a commanding winner of the Group 3 Prix Gladiateur, marking his third Group win at Longchamp.

Partnered by regular rider Mickael Barzalona, Andre Fabre’s charge raced in touch with the leaders and was ridden to challenge approaching the two furlong marker. Driven to lead inside the final furlong, he kept on to score by two lengths, while the progressive Presage Nocturne (Wootton Bassett) stayed on for third.

It marked a fourth Stakes win overall for the consistent four-year-old, who is owned by OTI Racing. The son of Camelot was initially raced by breeders Gestut Ammerland.
