Tiz The Law Filly Brings $240,000 at Fasig-Tipton October
Just over a week before he’s set to have multiple Breeders’ Cup runners, Tiz The Law saw a filly from his second crop sell for $240,000.
Purchased by Jones/Everett from Eaton Sales, the filly is a half-sister to the stakes winner and multiple graded stakes placed Cat Burglar and the stakes placed Aljalela. Their dam Be My Prospect produced seven winners and saw her Uncle Mo daughter produced multiple stakes placed Walley World as well.
Be My Prospect was unraced herself but is a half-sister to seven winners with that group including the stakes winning duo of Away and Rich Find.
Away also produced Grade II winner and Grade I-placed Eight Belles and two other stakes performers with her daughter Travel the dam of stakes winner Global Storm and Camelot’s stakes placed Where I Wanna Be. Two other daughters also produced stakes performers.
Rich Find was the dam of a stakes winner and the Grade I-placed Broken Spell among others.
Tiz The Law’s leads all freshmen this year by earnings, stakes winners and graded stakes winners with his runners also including six stakes performers.
